Procareful - an innovative model of care for the elderly

A meeting on the international PROCAREFUL project will be held as early as October 19, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the ORION Building, 2 Spokojna Street, room 252. The goal of the project is to develop an innovative model of care for the elderly.
The PROCAREFUL - PRO.active CARE F.or U.sers L.ife project is implemented within the framework of the Interreg Central Europe program funded by the European Regional Development Fund. It is implemented by the Italian Institute for Care of the Elderly I.S.R.A.A., which is also the project coordinator, in cooperation with 8 partners from Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Slovenia, as well as 3 associated partners from Italy and Slovenia. The duration of the project is 3 years.
PROCAREFUL aims to develop an innovative model of hybrid home care services to support the independent living of elderly and vulnerable people in need of care, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by digital technologies in everyday life. The project's premise is to overcome the existing urban and rural gap in the availability and timeliness of home care by augmenting existing health and social care services and shifting from a reactive to a proactive approach. To achieve this, the partners are working on a solution that combines face-to-face care with remote and digital support based on machine learning and artificial intelligence. Implementation of the model is being tested in five regions.
Britenet, together with the "OIC Poland" Foundation, invites you to participate in a meeting about the international PROCAREFUL project. During the meeting Ewelina Iwanek, PhD, EMBA, Martyna Przewoźnik and Monika Czerniejewska will talk about the goals and objectives of the international project PROCAREFUL (PRO.active CARE F.or U.sers L.ife) and present its results to date.
This will be followed by a discussion on how to support the elderly - directly and with digital tools. Participation in the event is free of charge.
